IT COMES AS NO SURPRISE that the United States is bending fingers and directing threats at whomever it can, in her attempt to derail Venezuela's bid for a two-year seat on the UN Security Council. After all, you can hardly have sitting members who do not recognize this Day und Age as a rapturous calling to fight the Global Blot on Sanity Global War of Terror, but who instead refer to this century as "the end of Washington's empire."
I suppose it should also come to no surprise to me that Rubén Aguilar, Mexican President Vicente Fox's spokesman, has now declared Mexico's support for Venezuela's opponent in this effort, Guatemala. The sly Fox credits "strategic reasons," first and foremost. No surprise. No big shock. Just a smirk to see the fox doing a lapdance. And a little shame and sadness that The American Way is the agenda for Mexico's Right.
Does this toxic themepark really seem so pretty from across the way? I would warn the distant dreamer...most of the rides are broken...and the vendors are hiding cages behind their carts...

kick it, ése.
