1. There is a guestbook linked on the sidebar (and here) if any visitors want to scratch out a grito, or just say what town they be readin' from. As I enjoy the feeling of community here (even when we are knockin' heads!), I would be happy to see you get around to signing it one of these days, tho' it is certainly not required, and really not even requested. Just thrown out there for your consideration.
2. There is a book list (for Chican@ awareness) linked on the sidebar (and here) if you want to add books you feel are crucial for this collection. I have another list somewhere, but need to dig for it. Meanwhile, I've kicked it off. Please do add any in the suggestions box that you heartily approve of, and I will link those as well.
3. I've let the Mi Familia series lag a little, but I'll be back on it. In general, as I lean into this rewrite of the novel I'm supposed to be sending to a big shot talent agency (who I won't name in case they reject me, but who is huge in NYC and who has been in contact with me and is waiting to receive my junk so they can scope it out "with an eye toward representation"!), I am letting a few other things lag. Please forgive me for this (yes, I'm thinking of you, Marisa, as well as some others who require my attention for various projects), and for the next few posts which may be trifling commentaries that do not require too much time from me. This is actually a big chance for me, and crucial, since I split with my last publisher.
As soon as I get this bear of a book done (on page 58 of a book that stands now at 310 pp), I'll be back on the blog full force. Although as XP may point out (as he did last time I said I was going to be absent for a bit), you may not even notice.
