Chickenshit Rumsfeld is resigning. CSPAN sez just now. Bush speaking on it. (I guess those "Senior Officials" were wrong, eh?) Bush says he will be replaced by Robert Gates, the CIA Director under Bush 41. (Is Bush, sensing a fall, now reaching for summa Poppi's wisdom....too late?)
Don't get me wrong. "Rummy" needs to go. But I hope he doesn't think this will get him away from scrutiny. Because a whole hell of a lot of scrutiny needs to fall on this man. (And I use the word "hell" very purposefully.)
