YES, I KNOW I TAKE A CHEAP SHOT at Mel Gibson by harping on his drunkenness. After all, I'm not against drunkenness as a rule. I love many drunken artists and writers and bloggers and general (nonviolent) fools. Lo siento, Melito. You turn your life and energies into making yourself one big Cheap Shot, and lo—las consecuencias llegan!
Anyway, as a Mexican American, I am fully justified in pursuing this path. After all, it was the Maya themselves who proudly proclaimed , "all's fair when hunting down The Gibson in order to scoop up his bloated, cirrhotic heart for the next out-house groundbreaking ceremony."
