Gerald Ford Dies at 93

Categorized under Blogando | Tags:

grafik by NezuaGOOD WEEK FOR DYING, I guess. Ex-President Gerald Ford is dead. I remember my first political activity in school when I was young. There was a mock vote, I'm pretty sure, between Ford and...Carter? Does that make sense? I don't know. I was in grade school, very young. I remember how little I knew, and that I was choosing between names because of how they sounded, and I didn't really care why.

When I was 14 or so, I was much more affected by Marvin Gaye's death. I bet I'll be ten times more worked up over Mick Jagger's death.

What? Nothing! I'm just sayin'. Relax. Mick's quite healthy.

I had the same thing!! Only my vote was between jimmy carter and ronald reagon. I chose jimmy carter because I thought he looked like he was a nicer dude--like he wouldn't get mad at me if i did something wrong. Haha.
