JAMES BROWN IS DEAD. The man had music in his soul, and he gave us more than our share.
Raise hell, Señor Brown. We'll miss ya.

James was the man. I have a "free james brown" shirt from when he was in jail. back then people were saying "it's a white man's world" instead of "its a man's world."--definately, my favorite song of his.

This makes me very sad, I knew he couldn't live forever but he will in my heart.

It's always so weird watching these people go. You somehow feel they are immortal. Always large, everywhere, everyone knows them, they are with you during so many moments, a million images of them in so many places you look. And one day, they prove how human they are. I remember when Marvin Gaye died, and hearing how. That felt even worse. But at least they leave us such good music.
That is a great one, Luisa. I don't know which one is mine. That is one of them.
