Dear (Mad, Mad, Mad, Mad) Leader

Categorized under Iraq the Casbah | Tags: ,

grafik SOMETIMES I HAVE TO SHAKE MY HEAD just to get it all to settle. Let me get this right: The American People don't want more war. The Generals don't want more war. The Iraqis don't want more war. The Iraq Study Group advised a drawdown. Even the Christing Brits don't want any more of this gross, horrific MISTAKE! No, it's pretty much Bush (and the frothy, irrational, crazy-as-fuck "bloodbloggers" and FOX tv) who want war. He's bucking the entire American system of "Democracy" and playing Fuhrer—just as he's always dreamed. He's going down in flames. He's shouting directions to fantasy battallions from his White Bunker. He's seeing imaginary Victory superimposed over his scabby, drill-holed and gangrenous Legacy. And we are going to watch him spit a bunch of ten-cent words at the TV today and pretend that we don't have a complete madman at the helm of the world's deadliest military machine (or so we say...and the Chinese remain silent out of respect...or wisdom...or paciencia).

Since I've carved out a nice little niche for myself here in El Blogosfero where I am not beholden to convention or stuffy-ass civility and bullshit etiquette, I will tell you what I think. I think Bush must be stopped immediately before America's First Installed President makes the War on Iraq look like a stumble before the fall down the stairs. I think there is absolutely NOTHING that could happen to convince him to be reasonable. I think he is a shallow, stupid fuck who has the wisdom and understanding of a kid who has been locked up in a closet for his whole life. Because he has. I think Bush IS like Hitler in one extremely important sense: Hitler didn't really want surrender. He didn't really want any of the things he claimed, but needed to enact total destruction and annhilation. He kept finding reasons to enact his inner madness upon the exterior canvas of the world. And I think Bush is the same. Underneath his grand speeches he hides a writhing demon that can not rest. I think Bush will start war after war after war and he will never stop, until we take him out of that seat. I think he would be happy seeing war spread across the entire world, and still it wouldn't scratch his itch. He'd still get up there swaggering and sneering and talking empty platitude.

I've been saying this for a while. And it is a terrible thing to see. Today, the Fiend-in-Chief will come out and drool more of his clotty non-sense, probably jerking his gargoylish neck in time to his jarring stops and starts, probably pounding on the lecturn a few times, probably in front of a wall of troops, or a halo, or some other symbol reminiscent of a fascist era.

We will listen, with sinking hearts. Wondering what will save us. Wondering how many more lives need to be ended, how many more gallons of blood need to wash down Iraqi streets, counting (American) deaths and watching a lunatic leader's eyes glow with a surrrrrrge of renewed excitement. One step deeper into a dark day we never needed approach but for a crooked Supreme Court, a Spiderlegged still-unfolding Dynasty, entrenched and systematic corruption, and many powerful corporate interests.

Or "American Democracy."

As American Empire continues to act like Pac-Man (how's that for another 80s reference) gobbling up counties left and right, the mass world public opinion will soon decide to use its "ultimate authority" to flex its collective muscle to stop it. When that happens, the folks here are going to act surprise as to why the world hates us and why America's colonized people are not on their side. And when that day comes, I will sit back and say told ya so.

Every Empire falls and it is the arrogant who don't think so.

The Chinese remain silent because they are holding the note that finances the war and we are left in debt to them.

The similarities between the old Fuhrer and the new and improved Fuhrer, is scary and propaganda along with greed are at their core. Here's a little quote I googled from one of bush's hero's Goebbels.
"If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State."
