Rollin' through tha hood...soon I'll be back for good

I NEEDED A NEWS BREAK and I'm also working on a few other artsy type things, as well as The White Lens III. She's a doozy. Mi clase de Español is this evening, and I'm happy to get back into that. We've been on break for a while, while our teacher was on vacation somewhere warm. Grrrr! I feel as if this long, cold PNW winter is blanching my heart. We just dealt with a blast of arctic air here on the West Coast that even chilled LA peeps down! But we're getting closer to Spring....meanwhile, when the sun comes through my window, I throw open the drapes and take my shirt off, just let it soak into me. Man, do I miss the strong, strong sun.
Anyway, I wanted you to know what was going on; I'm never away this long. Just took myself a little break. I've also been recuperating, because after a few heavy, heavy days of writing and editing (for the first time ever!) the nitteh-gritteh of the Aztlán Reconquista Plot, I'm all out. Just wiped. I can safely say I've never, ever had to to a crunch job like that. Or as big and important an edit. And in such little time. Man. And I've done a bit of writing! So, I've been making my way through what an old friend once called "creative come-down."
But I'm done! And bouncing back, no fear! Hope everything is groovy, don't forget Saturday and also the SotU address in the cantina!

When and if you feel like checking it out, I took some excerpts of your recent writings and used them as a starting point for a recent Zuky post. I'll likely have more to say about the subject as I learn more.
