The O-Bomba bringin' trauma!

grafik by Nezua THE LOOMING THREAT OF A BLACK MAN IN POWER so terrifies the GOP/FOX faction that they leave no filthy tactic unused. I guess now they are switching up from calling him OSAMA to pulling Tyler Durden-type inserts of his face intercut with stories about sexual predators. How very clever!

By the time they are done associating him with every heinous crime on the face of the earth, you'll have a slimy feeling about the man, and you won't even know why. Sort of like the memes of anti-brown sentiment already seasoning our big, stinking vat of meltingpotstew sitting uncomfortably cold in la cocina. I suppose since Obama dares reach for the Ivory Ring, they are really stacking it up. The regular racism just won't do. For this dire threat, something a little stronger is required. Terrorism. Child molestation. What could possibly be next? Giving Barrack a little Hitler mustache?

Dig the smirk that wants to bloom on this newscaster's face shortly after the splice of Barrack Obama plays during the story about a convicted sexual predator. Or is he smiling because he really digs the weather? Either way, it just makes you feel all warm inside about Fox, and the White Right Wing agenda. Dudn't it?

i haven't done much research on obama but from the things i do know about him i don't find half bad.
i think it's crazy that fox can get away with something like that. half the people who seen it probably didn't even consciously acknowledge that his rally was running during that sex offender story. sad.

It's blatant. Obama's office should file a complaint.

I'm sure it was an honest error. Just like last time ... and that time on Yahoo ... and the one on CNN.
I think Jung would be mumbling about synchronicity about now.

I think that all the instances of obama-ism are purely accidental, much like you accidentally sleep with your girlfriend's sister, or accidentally set fire to that big cross or accidentally invade a country with huge oil reserves and no WMD's.

Of course it's deliberate. Particularly in Fox's case.

They really are just beating around the bush though...what they really want to say is "He's coming for our white women!"

And as a white woman who finds Obama to be really hot...politically and otherwise...that idea isn't at all unappealing to me. Hell, I think his wife is really hot.

And honestly, if we were smart, we'd shoe him into the oval office by a landslide. Think of the good it would do for US/Middle Eastern relations to have a Muslim as president.

Obama could be our magic bullet out of this whole ugly mess.

Oh God, that makes me so sick. :( I don't even have anything snarky to say; I'm pissed.

Fox has been playing these kinds of games (and so has CNN) for sometime, its disgusting. Add the fact that 24 is nothing but a "neocon sex dream" (Newsweek words, not mine) and you have the whole of Fox serving as one giant propaganda machine for America Uber Alles!

George Orwell wrote 1984 as a warning. These right wingers use it for a play book. FOX has turned the '2 minute hate' into a full blown 24/7 attack.

I think Senator Obama is brilliant, charismatic like a Black Jack Kennedy. I also fear they will shoot him dead before they see him succeed. Prolly U2 is already getting a song ready. :(

There's a lot to like about Obama, and to detest about the treatment he is sure to endure from the more racist factions of media and politics. But I just want to note that there's plenty of ambivalence about him in many communities of color, for example in places like Harlem (I work in NYC) where many feel that the white media have foisted Obama upon them and are now representing that the grassroots Black community chose him, which is not true, Obama has been anointed by the white corporate-political establishment. This post from Skeptical Brotha lays it down nicely. I’m not saying that I’m going to oppose Obama’s candidacy -- like many others, I remain hopeful -- but I think it's important to pay close attention to the power dynamic that's at play here.
