well. i hate to generalize across the entire breed, you know? i mean...i think my dog did act like that...but he was spoiled, poor thing. i don't think it was genetically inherent or anything like that. :)

And that's the problem...Spoiling. Many white canine creatures sweet, natively docile temperaments are ruined by exposure to privelege and riled up by agitationist forces, thus when the 'sugar tit' dries up they're the first to bite the hand that feeds, so to speak.

I think this is Mike Blevin's group. He used to be my "favorite Nazi"

I used to get on neo-Nazi sites, either under "gayboy" (really stick it up their ass!) or using the name of my Labrador retreiver pup... I sort of liked the idea that the Aryan Nations was sending literature to a black bitch :-) I used to make Blevins miserable and thought he'd disappeared into some bunker somewhere.

I spent about a year involved with an informal group of cyber-resistance types, countering neo-nazi propaganda (mostly undermining confidence in their leaders, and convincing otherwise intellegent kids that the whole thing was bullshit... We never lied, and that was the important thing.

Most of you guys are smarter than a least a few Lou Dobbs (and some smarter than 10 of 'em)... have fun, but don't expect to "win"... that's not the point. These kids are probably programmed to think they need to "win" in life (there ain't no big prize behind the curtain at the end... or, if there is... it sure doesn't have anything to do with "success") and think they have to "win" an argument. Nah... they just need exposed to the truth. And that can be devestating to their fragile egos.

The kids who go for this kind of thing aren't always just losers (though this group appears to be, and that's who Blevins recruited), as much as missing something emotionally. Yeah, some were just terrified of being "found out" that they weren't "superman" (a surprising number are closet gays... but one look at the homoeroticism of racist propaganda and it's obvious), but more just being "found out" that they're really not important in the way they've been taught (or led to belive) they should be.

The smarter ones (or at least the ones who read) spin these elaborate theories to justify their position, or hint at "hidden" knowledge that would clarify the whole thing. "If you knew what I knew..." is shorthand for "I am the truth and the way..." and they're the ones you need to go after.

I had a thicker skin, the time and money to spend hours plowing through their bullshit (and find and write up the truth) and enough humor to shrug off the weekly death threats.

Having dealt with these bozos before is one reason I say "race doesn't matter." Yeah,, of course, the "brown people" (and black, and other shades of tan people... not to mention religious minorities, gays, women, etc.) have it worse than the "white guys", but that has to do with the false meanings given to "race" and not anything innately human.

These days, I'd just as soon knock some sense into these fools with a baseball bat.

I just found this out today. Here in Tejas, there was one those county community boards and just was just shut down last night because they were alarmed with the large amount of racism that was going on and somebody I know (una gringa, fighting the good fight) who used that board, well, somebody killed her dog and had the gal to taunt her about it.

These people are sick fucks.

When people hate, it is because of fear. When people fear, it is because of insecurity. Racist websites scream of themselves, "I'm scared and insecure!"

When people are proud, they celebrate with toasts, dancing, and ear to ear smiles and the like. When people are afraid, they stomp around in jackboots and shout of imagined conspiracies through bullhorns.

These types of people and organizations, through their websites and messages, say more about their own pathetic nature than critics like us ever could.

I wish I could say I am surprised or even disapointed anymore. 21 centuries after they nailed some guy to a tree for saying how great it would be if we were all nice to each other for once we still get wahoos like these. You know something? I am a caucasian american male born in the United States. I grew up in a military family and lived all over the world. I was able to gain a great appreciation for my brothers and sisters throughout the world as well a s an appreciation for their various cultures. I think it's wonderful that we have so much diversity in the united states. However I do believe it is quite biased for one ethnicity to have the ability to have "pride" in their color and for another it is wrong. If you want to have pride in your mexican, brazillian, Spanish, Italian or whatever culture then GREAT! I am very proud to be Scottish American. But to have the pride simply of the color of your skin makes no sense at all. Take pride in the beauty that is your culture and preserve it so that it may be enjoyed by all but don't be so shallow as to base that pride simply on skin tone. It is unimportant.

Then don't take pride in the color of your skin, and you'll be in line with your own standards. I think you can pull it off.

Just a comment to Pride in Texas -- you might like to try a little research yourself - race and species are completely different concepts. Gorillas and chimps don't mix because they can't. They are different species. On the other hand, think about the canine species and how much variety there is with them, even more than humans, with size, colors, fur type, etc., but they are the same species and they definitely do mix every chance they get. Race is a man-made concept. It's arbitrary. We're all the same genetically. There are varying degrees of skin color, eye color, hair color & texture, facial features, etc., but we're still the same species. As a member of both the arbitrary classification of the caucasion race as well as the human race, people like you really make the rest of us look stupid.
