Chican@ Art Mag #3 [March Release]

Categorized under Arte , Cultura , Literatura , Raza | Tags: , ,

grafik IF YOU WANT TO READ UP on why I post about this mag, or how I am involved (writer), you can click here to find all the entries on this topic. If you've been reading a while, you already know. And you also know that the Winter issue is overdue.

Below is the info sent to subscribers yesterday by the publisher, announcing the new release date. If you have not ordered a subscription, and you feel a slight curiosity, please read my honest and full write-up on it here, which I wrote after getting Issue #1. It really is a gorgeous and well-made mag, and will give YOU the lowdown on the Chican@ scene, art, and feelings and thoughts of the artists, including my much-heralded, cover-announced, unpublished anywhere The Great Aztlán Reconquista Plot Revealed, which is, in essence, a rebuttal of all the nativist yapping out there, especially Mista Pat Buchanan's book State of Emergency, which I suffered to read just for this purpose.

Grab that up now, 'fore it becomes news. The issue is being sent to Pat, Billo, and many others. We expect to be fully loved and embraced by them after they gander on mis palabras.

And lo siento to those readers who went ahead and subscribed and are wondering when it will arrive. Just remember that the best meals take time to prepare.

To our Subscribers,

The 3rd issue of Chican@ Art Magazine has been delayed by technical and legal concerns. We apologize for any inconvience. It is re-scheduled for release by March  2007. Please be aware that we only publish 4 times a year. A Winter 2007 subscription will not be delivered by mail until mid March 2007. If you want a whole or part refund on your subscription, or if you have subscribed and did not receive issue #2, Fall 2006, please contact CAM - subscribe[[AT]]chicanoartmagazine[[DOT]]com

Or write to us at:
P.O. Box 713
Lake Hughes, CA 93532

I want to sincerely thank our subscribers and the Chican@ art community, From San Antonio to San Francisco for their support!  Please check our web site for updates.

Nezua, check out the artist I wrote about on our blog yesterday (2-19-07), you'll be interested in his take on history.

His work reminded me of you immediately, a stubborn talent should never be squandered.

No problema. I'm a patient man, and willing to wager that it'll be well worth the wait.
