In A Human Form

IT'S RATHER SATISFYING in a literary/artistic way—although disturbing in an immediate and personal, "reality-based" manner—how much the Cheney/Bush relationship resembles not a human with ventriloquist's dummy on his gin-soaked lap, but rather, hmmm. That of the Evil Magician and the Enchanted King dynamic, say. Such as that shown in The Return of the King (I think) by J.R.R. Tolkien; also Prince Rilian and his enchantress in The Silver Chair (Chronicles of Narnia book 4), also as presented in Stephen King's The Eye of the Dragon. (I have not fact-checked these, but feel no guilt about that.) What I mean to say is that certain stories play out over the expanse of time as we know and have recorded it, and as deeply drawn as these characters and plots are, they really need little variation. There is a satisfaction in seeing how true to form these relationships repeat. There is a comfort in the flow of that river, Life. She may love the snakes as much as you, but it's good love so you both take it. The only river in town, anyway.
The point—man—is that Cheney is a beast. He's a ghoul barely able to prop up the massy weight of his own fleshy face, see his lips always reaching for the grave. The poison gases excreted by his spiritually gangrenous zombified heart tissue leak from his throat and cause his own mouth to sag, his slug-like lips to hang as the muscles are immediately paralyzed by the stenchy toxic fog trying to bubble free of the persistent carcass we call DICK Cheney.
...I guess what amazes me to this day is how long the wheels must turn while so many of us know what seems the obvious for so long. How many people must be harmed, killed, and suffer while the hulking machine takes its civilized time to suss it all out. The games we must play. It hurts when what has been painfully clear to most for years and years finally becomes corrosive and destructive and obvious enough to entice the overall consensus to rear its collective head and perhaps nose around at what is eating its own innards out. There has to be a quicker way to weed out evil from our midst. Some kind of fluorescent lamp system or something.
I think Cheney should have a strobe light on him if he has to testify at the Libby trial. That would be cool.

I speculated that when Cheney places his hand on the Bible at the Libby Trial, the Good Book would burst into flames. Sr. Horse Dooty reminded me that it would be a cloven hoof. That led me to create a Gif. which I'm sharing with everyone :

Good one! The graphic is icing on the cake. I remember recently an episode of The Daily Show where Jon Stewart was talking directly to Dick Cheney, and to do so he wore a Darth Vader mask and ad a backdrop of Sauron's eye at the top of the tower. It was classic.

The truth is that Cheney is a disciple of the "comic book inside math book dust jacket" school. This means that he isnt really placing his hand on the Bible, but on a copy of the Necronomicon inside a Bible dust jacket.
