Bush Finally Uniting World

Categorized under Foto , Globalización , Latin America , Protesta , Resistencia | Tags: ,

WHAT A CLOWN history will show george w bush to be. What a miserable, lip-flapping, bomb-dropping, leering, stupid, ignorant, gutless clown. America's Right Wing diehards still kneel at the foot of the fake prophet, as if there is anything to be found there but ashes. Ashes and mouse droppings. Ashes, mouse shit, and blood. Blood of children, of so many children, blood of women, and lest we forget, America's soldiers. Bone fragments of the poor. Bone meal of the believers. Bone grist for the porcelain tortillas of the Elite. Bone powder and American platitudes. Powder and dust shed of hope. And ashes. Ashes, mouse shit, children's delicate ankle bones, and stink. Sulphur and chemical burn. Mass graves on the March. Toddler-skin for Halliburton, pulverized front teeth for Freedom. Robbers and rapists in the maize...and a fine, rainbow-freckled patina of petroleum to settle darkly upon so many grand promises made.

The rest of us seethe and long for a day when the criminal puppet dance is stilled, the Decider's corrupt kneecaps tied tight and shackled. We shiver at our television sets, we don't even ingest the headlines that suggest the figurehead has thoughts and ideals. Mostly we seethe. But at least in Latin America, they put it to music.

President Bush has spent the past six days in Central and South America pushing his view that what he calls free trade is the solution for millions who live in poverty south of our border.

... Now almost a decade and a half later, the United States has lost a million jobs as a direct result of NAFTA, manufacturing wages in Mexico have declined, and illegal immigration to the United States, primarily from Mexico, now poses a national crisis for both nations. And instead of investing hundreds of billions of dollars in our hemisphere, corporate America has carried out the greatest transfer of wealth and knowledge to Communist China in the history of nations.

MEXICO CITY - Hundreds of demonstrators marched to the U.S. Embassy in Mexico City on Tuesday, attacking riot police with concrete blocks, metal bars and firecrackers and tearing down barricades to protest the visit of President Bush. [...]

Several protesters were arrested or injured, one with blood pouring from his head.
The demonstrators burned U.S. flags and waved banners with slogans against the U.S. president, such as one which said: 'Bush you are not welcome in Mexico. Go to Hell.'

US President George W. Bush on Monday visited Guatemala where he discussed immigration and went sight-seeing at a Mayan site, as violent protests continued to dog his goodwill tour of Latin America.

Several people were injured as about 1,000 protesters, some armed with machetes, clashed with police outside the National palace where Bush held talks with President Oscar Berger.

Indigenous Guatemalans said on Monday they would hold a spiritual cleansing rite after US President George W. Bush visited the sacred Iximche Mayan ruins. [...]

Four were detained by police, according to the protesters, who said they would undertake the cleansing ritual to remove "bad spirits and bad energy" left by Bush at Iximche, 90km west of Guatemala City. Bush and his wife Laura visited the site with Guatemalan President Oscar Berger and his wife Wendy Berger.

People in Guatemala are explicitly crossed with Bush over his administration's recent decision to crackdown on the Latin American migrants living and working in America.

On Tuesday U.S. migration agents detained nearly 500 illegal migrants for possible deportation, which left over 250 children without their parents, the Xinhua reported.

The Uniter Not A Divider is finally fulfilling his Great Work of bringing the world together with one voice. I do not think, however, that he will care for what that voice is saying. He can ignore it for now, with the help of his fancy toasts and prescribed calm. But it won't be long before the tiny man's eardrums are deafened with the collective call for justice.

Just a couple more tours is all it will take.

Bush in gallavera! Now I seen everything. Would make my grandfather skin crawl, if it where for the fact that he is dead. All Empires must suffer a half-wit leader, the result of elitist crossbreeding, a Nero if you will. Of course those who suffer the most are those at the edges of Empire, those who bear the burdens of violence, exploitation and denigration.

And now they had enough....

Viva America Libre!

Well, he has indeed united the world in its disdain and hatred for him and his policies. I wouldn't know how to go about finding someone abroad who took a pro-Bush stance.

I do have to wonder about what happens when we are finally rid of him. How long will it take to repair all the damage he has done. We desperately need some way to get rid of leaders like him before their terms are up. Something like the Brit's system of dissolution and general election on top of our current system would be appealing to me. That way we could get rid of everyone and start from scratch if necessary.

We obviously underestimated the number of checks and balances needed.

Oh, these pictures do my heart a world of good. Especially the one of the man punching the bush dummy! Makes me want to create my own effigy, just so I can punch it.
