img THE DECIDER SEZ "Keep Shopping" if you care about America. And The Unapologetic Mexican agrees, and thinks you should do some of that carin' about America right here at ya blogmigo's. This is a short post to introduce you to our very own fundraising week (1 de Marzo - seis de Marzo) as well as the donación button, which will be at the bottom of every post for a week (without this text intro) and then will magically disappear. And mostly, to separate this introduction from the already-written next post, which is about poverty, health care, and the death of Deamonte Driver, as if affected my own thoughts. Seeing the Donation button for the first time tacked onto that post, it feels too much like using a dead boy to work my Paypal Mojo. And that's a bit much. I didn't plan on the confluence of those two happenings, but it will read that way.

Anyway, here's a quote from someone who kicked off the fundraising two weeks ago by sending an unsolicited and unexpected "investment" as he called it. I'll say no more, and henceforth return you to your regularly scheduled (unapologetic) content.

Nezua, everyday your work amazes me. i teach classes on white privilege and male privilege, and have spent, honestly, probably thousands of dollars on books that don't do it like you do it. rock on. please.

yeah, baby!
