Gettin' Cheeky in the Zócalo
Categorized under Arte | Tags: Mexico, Spencer Tunick
I WAS A STUDENT AT NYU when Spencer Tunick shot a series in Manhattan. (Was I in the pic? You'll have to get a print and take your time with it!) Looks like he's doing his latest work in good old México. And it seems la gente are down wit' la causa de Tunick.
MEXICO CITY - American photographer Spencer Tunick said Sunday he was hoping to draw his largest crowd of nude people for a shoot next month in Mexico City‘s enormous Zocalo plaza.'This could be my largest work ever,' Tunick told a news conference. 'We‘re really hoping that all eyes will be on Mexico City on May 6 because this could be ... bigger than Barcelona.'
Tunick said last month that 3,700 participants had registered for the shoot. On Sunday, he said more were signing up but declined to give a figure.

In México? Want to get naked? Join the fun. I mean, the art. I mean the fun.
