THIS IS MY OLD MAN'S promotional site for his new book 187 Reasons Mexicanos Can't Cross the Border. So far, it is just a temp splash page for the book, but I'm doing a lot more work on it. Doubling up the column, toolbar on top, blog, pages, banana firecrackers, you know. Cellophane cablecars! Golden Simmering Mapa! Tha 187 express, lots of poppin energy. Habanero silkscreen. Watch your fingers. Y tus ojos!
I will link again when I upload more progress, and I'm going to poll my ever-discerning readership for ustedes opinions on a few possible book covers that are being considered. Jammies I'm messing with that may or may not replace the one that's being shown now. (It's not just up to him, of course, it's the pub company, "covers are marketing" and such, it's very true, they like to do that part.)
There's a lot planned for the book's release, fun stuff, readings, signings, touring, hot orange chalk manifestos....all that info will be up by the time I'm done. I'm thinking even cramming it, Wednesday. But look for some big changes tomorrow, también.
*Newer readers, don't be confused. This is not my LegalWhiteFather. Juan Felipe is my biological father who I lived with for a short time pre-5ish (I call him "papi" in here), and then, later, met again at 19.
