QUESTION: Why is it when you turn on the TV, click on a news Web site or pick up a newspaper, the only Latinos you ever see or hear about are criminals, illegal immigrants or half-clothed female singers with dyed blond hair?
ANSWER 1) There is no agenda to demonize Latinos. I assure you.
ANSWER 1B) Go look to your parents if you want role models.ANSWER 2) What? Ugly Betty doesn't count?
ANSWER 2B) Latinos coming into the USA is a fairly recent occurrence. Give them time to be portrayed positively.ANSWER 3) It's our fault as Latinos for cutting each other down.
ANSWER 3B) Positive Latino role models just don't live in the spotlight. They can be found in smaller lights. In the spotlight is where Negative Latino Role models prefer to dwell.
Which answer does not operate under the same brainwash that the Questioner is questioning? (Hint: Ninguno)

But all friendly smack aside, Nez....that article was especially atrocious. Perhaps if the corporate media would get off it and actually seek more Latin@s as progressive role models, they wouldn't get such whack answers.
