Updates on Site

THIS IS A NOTICE simply to let you know that certain "reference" pages on The Unapologetic Mexican have been updated in significant ways.
• Copyright Credit
Essentially, I require consent for derivative use of my work now. Note to bloggers and anyone quoting or blockquoting: nothing changes. This notice is ONLY to jam on the slant of my old policy ('take anything for whatever') to protect myself. I would rather keep an eye on how any art-type junk I make is used. Especially now that certain works of mine are soon to be unleashed upon the public (under a not-Nez name). Anyone with a profit agenda must always get my permission, even to quote words. I'll have to add that part.
(PS on a related tip: cool but not so big website(s) that I have linked without caring for reciprocal link because you've got style? I see you bouncing off my content here and there. It's not a coincidence, I had to make sure, and that's why I've waited a good while and said nothing til now. I don't like these talks. But even if its infrequent, there's a pattern happening. Please check thy 'Netiquette. Flex is flex, but after a while, what you're doing looks like taking and no giving if you never link or tip to those places that help you shape a post. You don't have to credit for each and every leap of free association. But a clear repetition of this dynamic along with a lack of commenting implies a lurking vulture siphoning inspiration and content. No biggie, but if it keeps up, I will simply institute a rule of not linking you in the context of my posts, and if you are on my sidebar, you will come off. I'm not threatening drama. You know who you are! Not a regular here—so please don't anyone get uptight who normally participates in my blog circle. That's part of my complaint. This person isn't "participating" in any circle or even any sort of trapezoid, at the very least. Not even a damn triangle. Pd(PS): your stuff is good enough! Don't worry about giving up propz. It only makes you stronger. And part of the community, instead of just reporting ON the community. Trust it. Link. Tip. Be a Writer, not a Biter. As the original vagabond said "Yeah...be groovy, or be gone.")
• Comment Policy
Essentially, I am not going to waste as much time with dead-end banter. Being open is good. But I have to take care of my atmosphere here, and my own belly, and I'm not so much into cock-waving with random people unless they've got especially interesting cocks, and that is never the case, nah, it's always the same old scabby, stunted swords clamoring for the head of the king. So I'm giving you notice. Don't think you can rely on guilting me with some insane Free Speech social pressure-type lever that favors an attacker. As the little lady with the red bag and the big horizon said, Dream on, daddy.
• Glossary
I have made each term linkable, and depending on when you last scoped it, extended it.
• Donation page
Okay, this hasn't changed. Just me reminding you how to give me some love. And to now declare that any donation over $100 gets you a signed copy of my book (it's a 96p, hardcover, pulpy, creepy, dark, art-heavy book ostensibly "for kids" but gift it with discretion); Any donation over $80 will win you one signed (or not, your call) piece of the actual GOP confetti from the floor of the RNC convention in NYC, 2004 (I have been saving this small collection I have kept now for three years, waiting for Impeachment eBay Days); Donations of all sizes garner my sincere thanks and if you request it, I'll pour a little on the ground for ya homies the next time Gravel stops by. (Sorry to any who have given in the past and did not receive any fun prizes. I just thought up the idea.)
Graz, Nezua
¡Bonus Level!
• Stylin'
Maybe if you're new here you don't know that you can choose a stylesheet aside from the default one. Comments too small? Blockquote style doing weird things to your eyes? On dial-up? I put a lot of work into this little feature, please enjoy.
• Banners
To put on your myspace page, or your LJ page, or on your blog to spread the word of Nez. Top four or so are kind of pointless as my cafepress shop is still mid-re-tool (or "stalled").
Bueno, amig@s! Let's get our day on. Don't know about you, but the sun is climbing the sky over here like a papaya trumpet bustin' out a brassy BIENVENIDOS!!!

Got it...my Mami always taught me to ask before taking, and keep posting those CNN babes, what comes out of their mouth may be drivel (its CNN after all, the channel of Lou Dobbs, Wolf Blitzer and Glenn Beck!) but there is always the mute button....

and...watch yourself. there are Feminists® about. i'm not sure we're allowed to enjoy the beauty of CNN female anchors that we don't like hearing. are we? i'm hazy on the CNN rule. but i do really, really love her shirt.

Nice! I am glad you posted this link to your banner page right after I
(1)stumbled upon this site
(2)created a new website
(3)finished designing a theme that coincidentally matches perfectly with the support the truth banner!
Oh, and about the CNN women thing... I think you are allowed to do it, but not allowed to admit that you do it. I'm a little lax on that kind of stuff, though. I need to brush up on my feministicalities.

I think you're allowed to admire her looks if you're a lesbian (preferably of the "political" variety)... and to otherwise admire her shirt, but not what is under it. And only if you come across the image innocuously, and were not deliberately watching the show/performing a search/trying to find pictures.
*nodnod* We have to observe the niceties, you know?

Well then I'll watch myself then. It can be construed that I would mute it because there is a woman on screen rather than a critique on CNN editorial and hiring polices of their male anchors who spew all kind of ignorant and hysterical nonsense (yeah Glenny Boy, I'm talking about you).
Consider myself dully notified. Carry on....

So, if we ask you to share you're cool with that? You know I'm very basic in my skills, I barely learned to add photos!
Plus I hope we never get so "pc" that we have to apologize for admiring beauty, be it a man or a woman. No need to get sleazy or intrusive but admiration and enjoyment is certainly one of the perks of being alive and human.
Feminist are not all humorless drones, some of us like men, sex, drugs and rock and roll (not neccessarily in that order). Life is but a dream.

absolutely, Leesee! especially for mi blogmig@s!
and thanks for the tips. you make it nice and clear.
by the way, i don't think feminists are humorless drones at all, just strong, intelligent women looking for some respect. it's the Feminists® i was whispering for.

I agree her shirt does look great. So how soon will the world shake at the fury of your unleashed works? I was hoping to make a killing off of eBay. I be willing to split the profits.

Coincidentally, The Daily Show (I know, not as cool as they wish) did a story by Samantha Bee on lovely newscasters. They called it NILF, News I'd Like To F***.
And I also noted a quote yesterday on bartcop.com that this time gave you credit and a link.
