A Welcome Visitor

Categorized under Chronicles of Nezua | Tags: ,

imgSTRANGELY, UNEXPECTEDLY, grace has visited the home and just when I was sure things would crack up from stress here, things are different. Rudy and GF came back, but are staying out in the trailer. There is no loud music in the morning, and the house is considerably less crammed. They even did all the dishes this morning, and Rudy brought my razor, apologized, and it had a new blade on it.

I don't know if la suegra had a talk with them or its just chance or what. But I am greatly relieved.

Let's hope the peacefulness holds for as long as you need it.

I don't want to be overly pollyanna-ish about it, but I can't help but think of how your actions and attitudes are powerful attractors (that might be a made up word) on the planet and particularly in your immediate surroundings. Not "hey, if you're just good-hearted enough you can make other people be good hearted too!" More like, what you do for survival (behaving how you want to behave, not surrendering to provocation and reacting to everything) seems to me to be what is necessary for any and everybody's survival really, and if Rudy and anyone else has moments of grace where they are - consciously or otherwise - influenced by that, I am very glad but not extraordinarily surprised. Again, to be clear - this is not to say that you are in any way responsible for helping anybody else not act like a dick, or that your integrity has failed to do its job if others keep being dicks. Just - I'm glad you have/had this relief (hope it's still going on), and I can't imagine that your way of being hasn't had something to do with it.

Joan, i get what you're saying. i appreciate the sensitive insight. i think its true that when we dont feed the flames of negative energy, it casts the surroundings in a starker light. gives people a chance to reexamine. i guess we can't say what happened. but i always love how life takes me by surprise. no matter how well i think i know it. keeps me feeling like anything could happen. which is a good feeling most of the time.

big thanks to everyone else who offered good energy.
