Freedom Isn't Free; Bush is The Anti-Price

Categorized under Closing in on Bush | Tags:

img BUSH MAY BE RIGHT when he says that the desire for freedom is universal. Oddly, it has not yet occurred to him that he is the universal antagonist to that desire.

imgStealing freedoms from us, bringing death, torture, lies and the abolishment of everyday mobility and safety in Iraq, shadowing threat over the rest of the world, encouraging and fomenting the reign of fear within our nation, he hath put forth his hands against such as are at peace with him, and sent out many a seed with which to rot out the center. From sea to shining sea, George Walker Bush is the very antithesis of this "freedom" he somehow understands that we all desire. If only he would realize the one, perhaps not painless way, to set us all free.

Oh George. If you only had the guts and vision of your favorite philosopher. Become your own cause. Please rid the world of our oppressor, and I promise to speak your name in reverence. Let your sacrifice be your penance.

Who is George's favorite philosopher? I thought it was Karl Rove or Wolfowitz

Good post. Unfortunately, he's like the tip of a pyramid: you can knock it off and the structure's still sound and ready to get another tip. It doesn't look the same without this tip, but they refresh it every 4-8 years. But good riddance to him, definitely ...

If only the pyramid were made of wood, then I could turn into a termite and eat it until it falls over.

Jose, you are so right. Every once in a while I have to rant at our symbols of greed and corruption, though. In actuality, we are part of the pyramid, too...

RC, "Jesus Christ" is the answer bush gave when asked who his favorite philosopher was.

Meep, that is hilarious. I will join you, pincers and grinders at the ready.

I named one of my kids after the same philosopher, Nez. Christ sure did have the guts and vision. I guess I would not argue much with George about that choice.

the context was one where bush was being asked about great thinkers, not about his religious choice, which seems to sprout out of his mouth in relevant and non-relevant scenarios because like the Gibson, GWB has Rapture on the Brain. i love the name Jesús. but i'd love to see bush make the ultimate sacrifice even more.

kick it, ése.
