OKAY, back in the Quad. Going to eat lunch, go outside, catch some sound from the el train, and then pack up all my stuff. Thanks to my FedExing amig@s for their help. You know who you are, and you know the help you have given.
I'm not going to follow up on my last post, the hint I dropped, only because I realized it will fit MUCH better in the context of the doc I'm going to put together. As will my other salacious tale of last night. Everything has happened perfectly, the experience has been great, Kid Oakland is a straight up righteous cat, and I don't think I'll be coming back to YearlyKos again, but for varied and not always predictable reasons, I'm glad I accepted the invitation. It has been completely enriching, and I really feel good about all the footage I shot and the piece that is coming together in my mind and the story that will be told through the film, as well as the connections I've made.

From José to Carmen to Bernita to Kid Oakland to Matt O. the Hounddog to Joaquín Guerra to Simon Rosenberg to Martha Gamez to all of the Chicago 17—I'm glad I met ya. Peace, and I'm not sure I'll post again until I get home. I'm exhausted and I just want to close my eyes until I'm there.
