Let's Go to the Tape.

THERE WILL BE no last installment on Nezua Crashes Yearlykos 2007 in this blog. I've been hashing it over...trying to find the balance between tying up and yet not giving it all away, not completely concluding and just finally realized the rest has to be on tape. Now that I've led up up this far. Now that I've refamiliarized myself with Final Cut Pro (editing software), doing my little MTV thingie, I'm ready to edit the YearlyKos film. So. For whatever it ends up, the rest will be as the "film," and not any more as laid out in exposition. I know it's fading away, the Grand Ole Convention suddenly seeming inconsequential. That's fine. Let it go. If it's a story worth telling, it will be of interest when told in full. Behind the scenes, I'll be editing.

 The Unapologetic Mexican has been known to scribble a few things besides meandering, verbose, self-congratulatory blog posts. However, they are rarely as fun. Finally, let it be known that Nezua first dared bust out this Habanero of Truth at exactly 9:23 PM.  | Top | View blog reactions

Good lord, man. I just got around to (very partially/tangentially) blogging my reactions to a workshop I went to more than a year ago (here). And if I ever get around to actually listening through the week's worth of audio from same, it will be a miracle. (I'm pretty much incapable of 'live blogging' anything.) Anyway, I would humbly offer that sometimes the most relevant responses take a long time to properly percolate. And, I'll be interested to see what you come up with, via whatever vehicle(s) you deem most appropriate.

Have you figured out yet how you're going to make it available? I want to make sure I have whatever I need to be able to see it. That is, of course, unless its going to be one of those "coming soon to a theater near you."

Your treatment will be welcome regardless of whether people move on or not, because while people aren't speaking about YK07 specifically anymore, it's important to see someone's perspective (esp. a person of color, a man of color, a [insert name here]) of how matters at the convention really went down as an issue of this mysterious brown folk diversity thing.

And for that reason, worth the wait. (You might even be able to sell e-copies out of the e-trunk of your e-mobile.)
