One thing that I wonder about here though...

Under the AT&T calling plan, would the landline receiving the call in Mexico get an extra charge? As many of us know, many south of the border seriously struggle to make ends meet. So, it's a concern.

When I called mi familia in Tijuana, via my Sprint cell phone and its international to Mexico plan, the the landline account charged the receiver extra for getting the call.

We found it cheaper -- for them, anyway, the receiver -- if I buy the little $10 calling cards, and use my cell phone that way...food for thought.
