The Green, Green, Benzene Scene, Take 2

AS YOU KNOW, in turning in the video for MTV's vlogger competition, I had rushed like a madman to meet (what I thought was) the original deadline—as it had been (at least to me), unclear. That's the day I tried to do three crews' worth of work in 19 hours or so. Well, the next day, MTV notified us finalists and told us they were extending the deadline (it actually had been midnight PST the day after what I guessed (and guessed to be safe in the absence of clarification), but their site was causing troubles so they extended the deadline another day past that) to two days after what I had thought. (Which put the cutoff time for upload at midnight last night.)
Suddenly I was like Waitaminnit! If I had known I'd have more time, I would have gone to bed when I started hallucinating and come back the next day to finish the edit with a semi-conscious mind! Also, I had been frustrated by the rain, which wouldn't let up. At first I had been waiting for it to clear to get some landscape shots. But it wouldn't break, so finally I had to shoot the rest of the video. Which is why there was so much rain in the piece! I just said "hell with it, stop waiting for it to end and use it!" Another reason, too, I ended up crammed for time in Post.
Anyway, when I found out I had a bit more time, I came back to it yesterday, dropped in two shots, two title cards, and one sound effect. While still imperfect, I do think the cut was greatly improved by two shots that, in film parlance, "boost the production value." One was the opening shot, so it really sets the tone right.
New versions behind the cut (tho I did replace versions on old page, too).
So, yeah, I had to give up my old view count (::mourns 77 views::), but here is both the new MTV upload and the new YouTube upload. Again, the version on top has much better image quality and less compression.

As for the pollution, I seen the same here. Polluted rivers and beach front. But some are fighting it and thats a good thing.
