Yo, I know it's the Coronas and Heineys talking, but fuck that. I'm voting for Kucinich ... that is, if he's not just a tease.

My man ...

He almost seems too good to be true.

I'm thinking we should all collaborate and invest in an island to show these folks how democracy should be done.

I live in Ohio (but not in Kucinich's congressional district, which is the Cleveland area); I can tell you that Kucinich is for real. He is principaled. He has never in his whole political life, which is pretty extensive, let the fact that people routinely make fun of him--for being short, for being a vegan, for having ears that stick out, for... not being a camera-ready pretty-boy pre-market tested politician who will ultimately just do what corporate interests want...--stop him from taking a clear, cogent, consistent stand on progressive values rooted in a working class perspective.

This probably sounds like I'm being paid. I'm not, and, to my shame, I've never volunteered for his campaigns, given money (that I recall), or sported a Kucinich bumper sticker. But, damnit, he IS the only one who actually walks my talk in this campaign--thanks for posting that. Kucinich--mi hombre tambien!

oh no, i feel you, L.A. (and you, José) Super-K is the only one really talking a language i can hear. others have moments here and there for sure. but this cat is just Right There with me 99% of the time. honestly, it would take a lot at this point to knock me in another direction. and if the media keeps trying to minimize him with less screen time than the other gloss-wrapped preservative-packs on the well-waxed mainstream rack, i'll only post on him more.

these days i have to live with myself and my hand on my fate. you couldn't pay me enough to yank a lever for more of the same. and i won't yank it at all if my heart is not honestly moved. that's today's agenda for me. and you couldn't pay me enough either, to endorse anyone or blog for their candidacy, i'm just here to say it as i see it, you know this is my real deal. so.

stay tuned to this station for more talk on Dennis the Menace to the Status. Quo.

I spotted this last night, but you and Profa 0 beat me to the post! Check out his record on http://www.ontheissues.org/Dennis_Kucinich.htm

yeah that video IS pretty impressive. I actually didn't catch that debate - I wish I had caught some more of the debates because I like to be informed but the election is still a year away. I wish I could wait a little bit longer before I have to put up with the nastiness of campaigning!

Back to the vid - about the patriot act: "I voted against it because I read it" Right on!

the other gloss-wrapped preservative-packs on the well-waxed mainstream rack

Quite a finely honed phrase there, Maestro.

By the way, over at Field Negro, under the Obama post, they REALLY like brother Kucinich. Let's get a band on that wagon and start pushing this guy. I think he should run with Richardson and really scare the hell out of the Right.
And Mrs. Kucinich? Is she ready for prime time or WHAT? Best First Lady we have ever had is my bet. I can already imagine the Vegan State Dinners. All jokes aside, I might even move to the US {I will be there for more than six months next year and at the same address} so I can cast a vote.
I didn't see the video, but I have been checking up on the guy. Alright, and I also have a crush on the Mrs.

I lived in Cleveland when he was the Mayor, and he kicked some serious ass, cleaning up the beyond belief corruption plaguing the city (explains why he lasted only 1 term tho)

jejeje! as Prince says so well Freaks on this side! Freaks on this side!

if i have any hope left in our government, it wouldn't really kick in until a guy like this were up in la casa blanca.

RC, this is good, this is good. Even Tucker Carlsen's segment on Kucinich's performance sounded eerily reasonable on this.

Nez, as you know I don't watch any videos, so I am rather unaware of Kucinich's appearance, but I have seen photos of him and his wife. He has to have some mighty big appeal to the females if Mrs. K likes him, and although he is not as nice looking as Brad Pitt perhaps, he is no worse than W, the shlub we have there now.
I state all of this only because over at the Tucker site, they seem to be hung up on whether or not he is a duende. Do we care about any of that? He has big ears? Obama's could be in a contest with his. The important thing here, ladies and gentlemen, the salient feature, is the man has Cojones de Laton! Are they going to get a closeup of those babies on camera?
He could use a better hairpiece however or go with the Michael Jordan look.

Richardson is kind of cute, even seems to have dimples. :Let him be Vice President, Richardson and Mrs. Kucinich can do all of the meeting and greeting of dignitaries and the on camera events while Kucinich hangs in the Oval Office making jokes with the visiting leaders. In 8 years all of those Garcias will vote Richardson in. Now, there's a plan.

American Gangster was an incredible film. Denzel can play a distinguished thug like only he can.

Plus, I want that pinstripe suit he wears in the film.

Could we all just get our shit together and work on his campaign! I have only ever campaigned locally in my home town but I think for him to make serious waves in getting known we have to be in on the campaign . I haven't started yet but I'm trying to figure out how to connect with folks in my my state- CT. He is the shit. Completely. I am also going to try to send him some money even though I don't have much!! But maybe there's a shot at healthcare for everyone! It will be worth my while to try!! He's to real for me not too!
I am frustrated at the lack of campaign interest in my community and throughout my family and friends- pisses me off. I think folks have just given up on the process. If they could just get a look at this video and what he stands for or hear him speak anywhere on any topic there interest will be re-invigorated! Sorry I can't stop going off about him!!

i feel you..it's hard to fight a powerful media machine so entrenched and invested in the status quo. i would feel very good about working for his campaign. i'm not sure i would personally have the time to devote to it in 2008, the time it deserves. and i may have other commitments that prevent me from doing so, ethically. more on that later. but i feel your message is dead on. people should get involved if they like what he's saying. i know i do.

kick it, ése.
