Stormin' Oregon

Categorized under Pelicula , Planeta | Tags: , , ,

GRACIAS for the inquiries, but I'm safe and sound. The storm in Oregon is a bit North and West of where I am by a couple hours. The coast is underwater in many places, but again, I am not on the coast. In this Age of Storm, these coasts of ours are going to prove unstable, and I think that's becoming very clear. Who knows, in a few years the old chestnut by Iron Maiden Run to the Hills may make a comeback. I'm not sure if that would be worse than the disasters itself, but...probably not.

I did just shoot a bit of video on the Oregon coast around the first of November. As always, it's a beautiful and wild looking place where Nature comes right up to you and tries to grab your ankles, drag you into the ocean. Big rocks and big waves. I've spent a little time on beaches, and there ain't one here, even when you have sand. It's a brutal, vast coast. Impressive, and smelling nothing like coconut oil.

A few stills from my latest piece behind the cut.

Muchas gracias, Nezua. My in-laws reside on the Oregon coast, so I'll be sure to send a link to this page to mi esposa.

Maybe we'll play Quiz A Local and see if she can puzzle out where you took these shots. :)
