Adding Injury to Injury

Categorized under Derechos Humanos | Tags: ,

THE INCREASINGLY ACCEPTED USE of Tasers does nothing to mitigate the sorrow when another "uncooperative" citizen has their heart fried by one.

[bracketed] words have been added by Nezua.

...[A] 29-year-old man who had crashed his car died after state troopers [shot] him with a Taser, according to autopsy results released Thursday.

The family of Mark Backlund described him as healthy and said hospital staff told them his arms had been "flailing around" before he died.

"They couldn't get his heart started," Gordon Backlund, his father, said in an interview at the family home in Fridley, a Twin Cities suburb. [...]

The state Bureau of Criminal Apprehension is leading the investigation, and five troopers were put on standard leave after Backlund's death. A patrol spokesman would not release details about the crash or describe Backlund's behavior."

Minnesotan dies after troopers use Taser

...except that he was clearly "uncooperative," right? Cocky citizens. Tase all crash victims, bro. That's what I say. If they are not uncooperative now, I'm sure they will be sooner or later.

"uncooperative" = WTF!! Doesn't that describe the victims behavior? Sounds like premature and amateurish CYA, fucking cowards!

I suspect you will see more tasing and suppression when students and activists (you're probably on the "open season" list Nez!) try to step outside of designated free speech zones, physically and verbally, as the electioneering gets closer to the end.

Free range humans: possibly, maybe, suspected, potentially unruly rascals, shoot at will.

One wonders when Congress will get around to tasing our "uncooperative" President and Vice-President.
