[M is a guest blogger and leather wearing administratrix at The Unapologetic Mexican. She can normally be found at Problemchylde.]

While Nezua is handling his biznass in NYC to represent the (mean?) streets of Oregon to the fullest, he's asked me to make sure you're not randomly assaulted by flesh fluttering poetics, anagrams of pointless proportions, online apothecaries, marketing (insults to) sonnets, and good-for-nothing under-the-bridge-dwellers. And in general, keep UMX looking its hi-maintenance lo-ign'ance self for the next few days.

My most modest friend has already compiled a hefty assembly of his personally acclaimed best works, but perhaps there's something here that Nez neglected to mention. Or maybe you've written something you want to share with the intelligent and loyal community of friends and compañer@s that frequent this space.

So here's where you can have at it! Share links, stories, gossip, good news, whatever. Crank the stereo, keep the top shelf spirits flowing (but use coasters!), and commiserate.

Over the next few days, I'll do a round-up of links and include anything suggested here. Bigoted assholes and cyber-marketeers need not apply. I'll get really worried if y'all send something and I can't tell the difference... ;-)

And if by chance you catch something I miss -- spam or news or some juicy blend of both -- shoot me an e-mail.

Can I ask why? Question not intended as confrontational. :)

On my blog I'm in the midst of fighting with folks about feminism. I'm in the process of re-evaluating why I call myself a feminist and slowly learning that my idea of feminism isn't (and doesn't have to be) everyone else's. But the more people tell me directly or indirectly that I want to be absorbed into some white feminist happy place, the more I want to find a new name for what I am and let them shove their happy places.

;)

Those people have problems. Srsly.

I spilled a whole bottle of lemon-flavored vodka on Nez' rug, by the way. Smells nice.

Problems! Yes. Many.

*takes a few deep inhales*
