If Ya Say So
Categorized under | Tags: Clinton, Obama, putos
I SUPPORT OBAMA because I think he is a savior. And will fix everything for me. And because I'm a right wing tool. And because I nurture a rose-colored sexist hate toward the Clintons. And because I am swept up, zombie fashion, in a scary socialist movement. And don't think for myself. And because those who think, say, or imply this about me or my support of him can suck my ass.
One of these is true.
Feel the hope.

Now, I'm confused I thought we were all on the same page and were supposed to hate Obama because he was black and we'd never vote for a black candidate.

Actually, do you mind if I ask why you support him?
I'm wary of his immigration policy: "Obama supports a system that allows undocumented immigrants who are in good standing to pay a fine, learn English, and go to the back of the line for the opportunity to become citizens." Something about going to the back of the line, and "being in good standing" that makes me think this would still keep a lot of people disenfranchised. But maybe I've got it wrong. What are your thoughts?

and additionally, he stirs up a lot of people's hearts and souls. he weaves a mesh of inspiration that we can use in our own ways, in our own lives. yes, he is a politician. but he is also an inspiring leader, and i think its about time we had one of those. not to save us. but to help bring many people together under a positive message. i say more here and here.

I have the advantage of having lots of Republican, Christian students, who can be very good at identifying Biblical references and explaining theological terms.
Today some of them informed me that saviors don't solve problems, they ignite your imagination and free you from 'mental slavery' so that you can.
