Torture Comes in Many Forms
Categorized under Race for '08 | Tags: Cheney, John McCain
OKAY. It's Febrero and it feels like Octubre. I can't believe I feel so sick of the Presidential horse race so soon. My politiclit is dry and numb as a year-old wad of gum. And McCain is what Cheney would be if he were in shape and had enough energy to knife people instead of just shoot them in the face.

It's a relief to hear that you are already fatigued and to find out it is not just me. Perhaps, as a political junkie {me}, too much of a good thing IS too much. I can't believe November is 8 and 1/2 months away yet. I have already moved on to looking for specifics about the Obama Presidency, like who will be Veep and the other cabinet members and what's the program?
It's too scary to think what the McCain era would be like, and while I can deal with Hillary and First Big Dog Bill, I would rather not, as in, more boredom.

Speaking of torture, I just heard on the radio yesterday that waterboarding was declared officially by a US court of law to be torture. After all the American military and politicos were saying the opposite. And after we convicted the Japanese of using torture during WW2 for these same techniques.
