I love it. For me the best so far. Powerful use of nat sound. The layered sound made me want to turn down my speakers and I knew exactly what it must have sounded/felt like in that venue. Your titles are clean and easy to read. You brought them in at just the right times. I am always partial to well composed static shots and this piece is exploding with them. Just. Great.

Thanks carmen for the thoughtful feedback. Yes, thats great you say that. When i got out of there I was like "I need to make sure I get across what it felt like in there!" Because the sound coming through the mic feed really cut out a lot of the audience, and that made the people who spoke seem to be shouting inappropriately as well as reacting to stuff we couldn't hear so much. And even now , we dont get how the place was actually rumbling. it was somethin'.

The Pit is famed for the sound the fans bring to it. I'm sure thats why they chose this venue.

I went to the UO about 30 years ago, so I followed the links to see (and hear) the Pit welcome Obama. I know how it really sounded; I heard the pounding and remembered how the sound in there was like pressure on the entire body.

Your video makes great use of music and editing without it being distracting. Carmen is right, your static shots look great and the energy in the piece makes me want to see parts 2 and 3 as soon as possible!
