Richardson Endorses Obama for President

EVEN AFTER Chilling with Bill. Ouch!

(Some peeples are not happy with it, but of course it's only because it "smacks of opportunism." Kind of them to be looking out for ole Bill's integrity like that.)

Richardson's all right in my book. I wish his campaign would have done better.

This was pretty humorous: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IZQzJiEnwx4

I have always admired Mr. Bill Richardson in terms of the leadership he has effectively displayed in the various capacities he has served the United States.Unfortunately, for Mr. Richardson his attempt at securing the democratic nomination was not to be, but his bold and courageous support/endorsement of Mr. Barack Obama for the the democratic nomination is an extremely positive move, specifically, coming at a period when Mr.Obama's campaign seemed somewhat mired in controversy, and about ready to lose political steam and momentum.Hopefully,if Mr.Obama becomes the president,Mr.Richardson will be looked at as a possible Secretary of State, based on his extensive experience in the field of foreign affairs.Excellent move Mr. Richardson. Also, you wear the goatee extremely well.

And the writing on the wall was written by the Clinton campaign's opportunists who at first downplayed this endorsement as unimportant because Texas and New Mexico races were already over. translation: we got the latino votes we wanted they're not important anymore.

Well that's what they say until James Carville calls him a Judas then somehow this unimportant endorsement pisses them off?

Carville's Judas comment bothers me. Just because an Anglo gives you a job is Bill Richardson in debt for the rest of his life? So now that Hillary doesn't need the Latino vote in Texas, the Latino community gets kicked to the curb and criticized.

agreed. that was vile.

then again, isn't carville kind of vile in most of his opining? been a while since i heard him on the tube, but thats what i seem to remember...

Nezua, people forget that Carville's first success was that Vichy Democrat Zell Miller. Anyone remeber Zell Miller? The Democrat who spoke at the 2004 Republican Convention for George W Bush.?

Also, his role as kingmaker in the 1992 Presidential Election is more legend than truth. Clinton won with only 43% of the vote. Ross Perot got the 19% of which Bush only needed 5 points to beat Bill. Dukakis lost with 46% in 88!!

And didn't Carville work to try to get Gonzalo Sanchez de Lozada of Bolivia elected against Evo Morales? I don't support the Bolivarist movement, but Sanchez was pretty bad.
