I was completely devastated when I recieved an email that went out to all CCSU students. I went to High School with Skye in Southington, Connecticut and even went to elementary and middle school with her. I am really really saddened by this news. Brought me to tears. lets all hope Skye is found fast and safe.

The days are long and empty for you family because you are not there. They have spent the last months with an empty place in their hearts. It is a place that only you can fill. It is okay that you needed to get away and see the country you had grown to love. They understand. What they can't understand is how to go through life without you. The last time i wrote it was in April. It is now November and they still are lost and looking for a sign from you. They worry about you all the time. The days are long and empty for you mother and sister. They love you more than words can express. If you don't want to come home that is okay but could you please send them anything that will make them know that you are all right. It is the not knowing that is breaking their hearts. I love you mother very much and I can honestly say that there were many lunches spend telling us at work how cute you were and the sweet things you did. We know that you were a good friend to a mentally challenged neighbors child. She askes for you ofter. I also know that you have a beautiful voice. Your mother loved to tell us you sang so well.
