Hillary Clinton in Eugene, Oregon [pt. 4]

Categorized under Política Estados Unidos , Race for '08 | Tags: , , , , ,

LAST WEEK we watched a young man (whom one person wrote me and called "arrogant") engage the democratic process as he questioned Hillary Clinton during her Town Rally at the South Eugene High School (April 4). The bold student wanted to know if when all was said and done the Senator was more interested in her own candidacy than preserving or encouraging the viability of the Democratic Party's eventual as-of-yet-unselected nominee. In Part 4, this conclusion to our four part series, she responds.

(Please excuse the audio buzz that can be heard for aprx. the first 50 seconds.)

Wow. Translation: I'm gonna attack you relentlessly, and if you can't take it, drop out.

Again, she is being so disingenuous when she talks about how it's not a coronation. I think she felt differently when she was the supposed front-runner, when she said time and again "I WILL be the nominee". Bleh. Gracias for bringing us another piece of the puzzle Nez.

Is it just me, or did she not answer the question? She's destroying the party and doesn't seem to care.

Peace

politicians are master of not answering the question, of course. they always use any question to utter the points and phrases they carry around, but the trick is how adept they are at twisting the response. a master politician will leave you feeling as if they answered you. the less artful they are, the more it seems they didnt answer. to the point where you have bush, who just hunches his shoulders and flatly refuses to answer.

to your second question, well thats what the young man seems to be saying. she doesnt really care to deny it. just says "to those of you who are new to politics, this is how we fight, dirty. and the world has always been that way, so welcome."

it's quite a message of hope and change.

kick it, ése.
