I Expect You'll Understand the Difference Between White and Wrong

img IT IS FUNNY how the primaries don't even seem to be about who actually wins or loses each state, but how each win or loss matches up to the expectation of whether or not that state will be won or lost. Of course the expectations are constantly massaged, sort of how Bush et al massage the budget to juggle horrible results into an imaginary positive column by beating old (fake) projections. Oregon hasn't even finished voting yet, and I'm already reading pundits who are discounting it because of course Obama is EXPECTED to win it. Jump past the deed into the past where we all expected the deed, and zoom back over here to write off the expectation being met.

Games! Fun!

Personally, when I found there was a huge amount of Obama supporters over here in the Pacific Northwest, I was very surprised. Because if you've read up on White Supremacist groups and their history (the PNW was the projected homeland of well-known hate groups, Oh yes it is/was and I don't want to link, but you can google 'pacific northwest white supremacy homeland') as well as sampled the population here? It seems very amazing to me. I would have guessed (wrongly) that the area was overwhelmingly in Clinton's corner. Especially given her recent assertions claiming the mantle of white support.
