HONESTLY, I never understood why the Dems tolerated Lieberman, the whiny traitor. He makes them look weak and silly and ineffective, as he runs around punching holes in the hull with a donkey sticker on his awl handle. But I just figured there was some arcane political rule or reason why a political body would drag around a gangrenous and dangling appendage long after it was clear that the health of the whole was in danger. Reading about Obama giving him a talking-to was quite refreshing. If the Democratic party wants to be taken seriously, they will oust or declaw this mole.
