The Dream Dies Not Readily. Clearly.
IT IS RIDICULOUS to think of HRC as Obama's VP. Perhaps once it would have been possible. Not now. Where does that push come from? The Clinton campaign. Were HRC to be named now as VP, whose will has been enforced and with an intensity and assumption of priority unheralded in recent memory? And in that light, has the perception of the potential presidency—before it even begins—been strengthened or weakened? And haven't we had enough of VPs with a will and agenda that supersedes even the President's? Ridiculous!
